In addition, the concept of supply chain sustainability, which evaluates environmental, social, and legal issues in addition to sustainable procurement, as well as the closely related concept of corporate social responsibility, which evaluates the effect a company has on the environment and social well-being, are both major areas of concern for the businesses of today.
