This study investigates the influence of recognition and career advancement possibilities on employee motivation in the luxury hotel industry in India. Employee motivation is essential in the luxury hospitality business due to its high expectations and strong emphasis on service orientation. It plays a critical role in upholding service quality and ensuring organizational success. These findings suggest that both the acknowledgment of one’s work and the potential for advancement in one’s career have a substantial impact on employee motivation. Recognition, whether it be in the form of formal accolades or informal praise, has a beneficial impact on immediate job satisfaction and helps to decrease short-term employee turnover. Long-term commitment and continuous motivation are highly associated with career advancement possibilities, which encompass promotions, skill development training, and defined career trajectories.
