HYBRID WORKING CONDITIONS AMIDST PANDEMIC: ITS EFFECT TO EMPLOYEE’S PRODUCTIVITY AND WORK LIFE BALANCE

Nearly two years after the emergence of Covid-19, implications in industries and businesses in different parts of the world are starting to immerse due to the impact of covid-19 pandemic which causes challenges to many businesses all over the world. This study aims to determine the effects of hybrid working on employee’s productivity and work-life balance. Data were collected through questionnaires from the 116 respondents of the study particularly the faculty and academic support personnel of selected basic education institutions. Based on the result of the study, the correlation coefficient of R = .431 indicates that there is a moderate positive significant correlation between the hybrid working condition and employees’ productivity. And every increase in the hybrid working condition will result in a moderate increase in the employees’ productivity. Moreover, in terms of the hybrid work condition effect on employee’s work-life balance the obtained B coefficient of -.002, with the associated probability of .992 which is greater than the significant level of .05, indicates that the result of the study is not significant.
