DIGITAL CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN HYBRID LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS

The rapid integration of digital technologies in education has transformed traditional classroom management practices, particularly within hybrid learning environments where instruction occurs both face-to-face and online. Teachers must adopt new strategies to maintain student engagement, discipline, and effective learning interactions in digital spaces. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research design to explore the digital classroom management strategies utilized by teachers in hybrid learning settings. Purposive sampling was used to select ten teachers from secondary schools who had experience teaching in hybrid environments. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. Effective digital classroom management in hybrid learning environments requires strategic use of technology, clear behavioral expectations, and strong teacher-student communication. The findings suggest that teacher training programs should include digital classroom management competencies to support effective hybrid instruction.
