In today’s dynamic and competitive organizational environment, the development of effective managerial competencies has become a strategic priority for sustaining performance and achieving long-term success. Leadership development initiatives-such as training programs, mentoring, coaching, and experiential learning-are widely adopted by organizations to enhance the skills and capabilities of managers. This study examines the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives in enhancing managerial competencies, focusing on key competency areas such as decision-making, communication, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking. Drawing on human capital theory and experiential learning theory, the research proposes that well-structured leadership development initiatives significantly contribute to the improvement of managerial competencies. A quantitative research design is employed, with data collected from managers and employees across various organizations using a structured questionnaire. The study utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to assess the relationships between leadership development initiatives and managerial competency outcomes. The research offers valuable insights for organizations in designing and implementing effective leadership development programs that align with competency requirements. It emphasizes the importance of adopting a continuous and integrated approach to leadership development to ensure sustainable improvement in managerial performance and organizational success.
