AN ANALYTICAL STUDY ON YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN CYBERCRIME: TRENDS, CAUSES, AND IMPLICATIONS

The rapid proliferation of digital technologies has significantly influenced youth engagement in cyberspace, leading to a rising concern over their involvement in cybercrime. This study explores the trends, underlying causes, and broader implications of youth participation in cybercriminal activities. By analyzing various socio-economic, psychological, and technological factors contributing to this phenomenon, the research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the motivations behind cyber offenses committed by young individuals. Additionally, the study examines the effectiveness of existing legal frameworks and preventive strategies in addressing youth cybercrime. Through a systematic review of case studies, statistical data, and expert opinions, this research highlights the role of digital literacy, parental supervision, and law enforcement in mitigating cybercrime among young populations.
