The purpose of this paper is to contribute insights into the existing body of literature on Electric Vehicles by systematizing existing knowledge and deriving specific implications for the scope of future work. Looking specifically on purpose of investments in Electric Vehicles and answer the questions related to the usefulness of Electric Vehicles and stating on the advantages and disadvantages of using them. Understanding Electric Vehicle as an opportunity for valuable investments or considering them as merely divestment vehicles. The literature has showed the major models which focused on the consumer’s preferences in buying the electric vehicles in terms of cost minimization. Also, paper discussed the most fundamental issues pertaining to electric vehicles buying choice due to their ability to degrade the environment less in comparison to fueled vehicles. Paper emphasis on the government initiatives and polices to promote the sale and purchase decision of the consumers in regards to electric vehicles.
