In arid regions, where water scarcity significantly impacts agricultural productivity and sustainability, Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) presents a strategic solution to harmonize the use of limited water resources. This paper evaluates the impact of IWRM on promoting sustainable agriculture in such challenging environments. By adopting a multidisciplinary approach, combining quantitative data analysis and case study reviews, the study underscores the efficacy of IWRM practices in enhancing water efficiency, ensuring food security, and fostering environmental sustainability. Key findings reveal that through the implementation of water-saving irrigation technologies, the utilization of alternative water sources, and the adoption of policies for equitable water distribution, IWRM significantly contributes to the resilience and sustainability of agricultural practices in arid zones. The paper concludes that the holistic application of IWRM principles not only optimizes water usage in agriculture but also supports socio-economic stability and environmental preservation in arid regions, thereby contributing to the broader goals of sustainable development.
