Leadership and career planning are critical components of higher education that significantly influence student success. This paper critically reviews the role of leadership in shaping institutional policies and practices, as well as the importance of career planning in preparing students for the workforce. By examining existing literature and presenting review tables, this study explores how effective leadership and structured career planning initiatives contribute to academic achievement, employability, and overall student satisfaction. The findings highlight the need for collaborative efforts between academic leaders, career services, and students to foster a supportive environment that promotes success. Recommendations for future research and practice are also discussed.
