NEW PUBLIC MANAGEMENT: CURRENT TRENDS AND FUTURE PROSPECTS

We agree that this review may lead to interesting administrative speculations. The aforementioned concept was put to the test by creating and distributing a survey to representatives of 18 Italian states nearby, ranging in size from small areas (population 10,000) to large cities (population > 250,000). An important shift in regional aid in Italy took place in 2009, with the goal of giving local government employees a greater sense of ownership over their job and a greater sense of accountability to the people they serve. The findings show that implementing environmental models with late open area alterations isn’t detrimental to government personnel’ commitment. Both environments that emphasize flexibility and growth, as well as those that emphasize execution and goal-setting, go against the grain and increase commitment. Despite this, the influence of development and adaptation in a given setting is more fragile, giving the sense that advancement ideals are at odds with the traditional regulatory culture that is still prevalent in many places.
